I was introduced to Emily by a friend with great taste. I learned that she was a contestant on some singing contest show that I'd never seen, and that she is as sweet as she is talented. While I can't speak to her performance on The Voice, and CAN say she is absolutely lovely, and can sing her butt off.

When Emily came out, she brought her tour mate—Tom Whall—with her. Upon first meeting, I unwittingly assumed him to be a hired gun backup guy: I was WAY wrong. He is a very capable musician and songwriter, and he was kind enough to share a couple of his songs with us as well.

It was a win.
